| The Pacuare Lodge is a jungle oasis nestled in the middle
of an enchanting and captivating rain forest on the banks
of the renowned Pacuare River. This unique lodge can be reached
only by raft down the river or by helicopter. Surrounded by
ancient towering trees, the two-story main lodge houses communal
dining facilities on the first floor and plenty of relaxing
hammocks in an open-air lounge on the second floor. |
Modern
wooden bungalows with thatched palm roofs are spaced out beneath
the trees, providing both privacy and serenity. Lanterns guide
the way at night, for there is no electricity in the middle
of this rainforest - just twinkling fireflies, crickets and
peaceful solitude. |
