| El Ocotal beach resort is a small, luxurious hideaway where visitors relax and enjoy the marvels of the Pacific Ocean with summer weather all year round.
Accommodations consist of 40 deluxe rooms and three VIP suites. All rooms have air conditioning, one king or two queen beds, ceiling fan, refrigerator, color satellite TV and telephone. Each has its own terrace overlooking the blue Pacific, where you can enjoy room service from El Ocotal's gourmet restaurant menu.
The original 12 rooms are located in six duplex bungalows stepped into the hillside down to the water's edge. Two additional wings of rooms are set into a cliff above the sea with dramatic views of the entire Papagayo Gulf. This area has its own Jacuzzi and swimming pool. A wing of eight rooms and two suites is located right on the sand of Ocotal beach, with another swimming pool and a tennis court just a few steps away. |

Ocotal is a calm, sandy beach about 1/3 mile in length, and ideal for swimming and beach activities. Although many guests visit Ocotal for its world class sport fishing, exciting scuba diving and surfing, activities such as tennis, horseback riding and water skiing are also available. Ocotal is the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the quiet easy-going pace of this secluded area.
