| The Hotel Santo Tomás is a carefully restored turn of the century
coffee plantation home built from 1908 to 1910. It has twenty rooms,
embellished with King Louis XV furniture, Queen sizebeds, individual tiled
baths, cable color television and telephone.
We are located in Barrio Amón, which is one of the most classical
neighborhoods in San José, and considered part of the National Heritage
because of its architectural, historical and cultural values. It is just
four blocks from the Plaza de la Cultura and Central Avenue, location of
the National Theater and the precolombian indigenous Gold Museum. Three
