I recently visited San Jose Costa Rica, when I was there we stopped at this little hole in the wall restaurant on the mountain over looking the city.... I was served with this frothy drink on ice which was tasted like coconut but had no alcohol and was extremely creamy. It almost looked like a coconut expresso on ice. If anyone could help me out with then name of the drink or how to make it for that matter I would really appreciate it.

It was probably just a bebida de coco - coconut milk with some coconut thrown in, and whipped in a blender, with a little sugar added, or possibly a bebida de pipa - same thing made with a green coconut... |

ps: you can get bebidas (natural fruit drinks) either con aqua or con leche (with water or with milk) - my guess is you had a "bebida de coco con leche"... |
