my wife and i hope to find property with modest living aragements in c/r that we can promote eco cultural tours from our home. We think this will be in deep country settings since we only want to invest 40.000.We come from canada and have a fifteen year old daughter.My question is can this be done or are we only dreaming. Were scared but dertemined. any advice or concerns would be welcomed.Im very concerned with a criminal record for asult i have,it was a stupid blimp in my life but its still there.Hope that doesnt mess things up.Any advice on first steps and requirements to buy property and live in cr is needed.were considering using a agency of sorts to help with paper work. has well has a layer.Cost is a concern. leads on homes in country areas 2 or 3 hours from an airport to realize our dreams would be welcomed. marc ------------------ |

there are lots of great web sites online for houses of all prices. do a search for Costa Rica Real Estate or Costa Rica Property. Other links: the classifieds from La Nacion newspaper: www.economicos.com another good one is the www.american-european.net (I noticed they have acouple homes in your price range. click on properties at the top of the page then you can search by price) |

I am planning a move to CR soon. I have met a truly great guy who lives in CR and has for 20 years. He has found me several properties and good prices.
