Thanks Roger, After researching property in CR on the Pacific coast it was quite obvious that I can not afford to live on that side of the country. I recently retiered from my job and receive a monthly pension, which according to my research on CR should be quite enough to live there comfortably, but by no means am I a millionaire! Once again I thank you for your reply and I am certain we will be conversing again in the near future.

Hi Blaze,
I didn't understand if you were looking for Caribbean or Pacific properties. But I can help. The pacific side varies GREATLY in price and it's better to have some time and a contact in country to work a good deal. Internet research is tough because it's mostly all overpriced.

Let me know if I can help.

Without being here you are not going to find a deal. Without being here you don't and can't know where you want to live. It is still possible to have a new home built including property for $75K but not on the beach as a rule assuming that is where you should be once you test the waters.
