My family and I have been contemplating a move to a CR for a while now and are looking to purchase a small farm in a rural area, most likely in the San Vito area. Our main concern is that crime seems to have exploded in CR recently, at least in the central valley. I know that this topic has been discussed many times before but in general we'd like to get an idea if those living in rural CR see or view the crime "problem"? |

One of the things you should have in mind when buying a farm is that you can't leave it alone! If you plan to go to visit your home country you always need someone to watch your farm/ house! All the people that I know have housekeepers or a guard that will stay at the property while they are away. ------------------ Events in Costa Rica: concerts, theater, sports, festivals and much more... |
