I am planning to build a small, inexpensive home on a piece of property already owned near San Ramon. I've read extensively about the building process (plans, permits, etc.). My first step is to find a reputable architect who will not take advantage of someone from the States and who would understand U.S. building standards. Can anyone recommend such a person or firm? |

Nelson Banfi designed my house just outside San Ramon. He also did the plans for at least 8 other people in my neighborhood. he's very well respected in the San Ramon area, and a helluva nice guy. Prices are reasonable as well. don't have a number for him that I can access here in the States, but if you ask around someone will know how to reach him. |
